Beauty Saloon is an alternative rock band from Chicago Illinois, fresh off of an over 3-year hiatus. Fronted by the band's songwriter Mike Molitor (Sick Day, Sylvia Ivy, Old Joy), Beauty Saloon delivers a wild energy to their sets, perhaps attributable to having yearned for a return to the stage for so long. The band features a new core lineup of veterans to the local scene including drummer Robby Kuntz (Red Scarves, Old Joy, Olive Avenue), Ben Baran (Busy Bodies), and Brian Samuelson (Mydge). Beauty Saloon's first album BS released in May 2025, and was included in Uproxx.com's "Best Indie Albums" of 2025 list; they are currently hard at work on releases due later in 2026.
